The Târnava river is not among the wildest rivers in Romania, but it can surprise those in search of adventure. Try rafting in a group, or rent a kayak with your partner or friends! You can rent kayaks for 1 or 2 people, and we provide full clothing (neoprene suit, boots, helmet, life jacket).
Off-road
If you wish to explore the area on four wheels, we also provide off-road tours with suitable vehicles and a guide. The natural beauties of Deșag and Sub Cetate await you, you just roll down your window and take perfect photos!
Ciclyng
We have 15 bicycles that our guests can use to explore the area on two wheels, also having the possibility to go mountain biking. Bike rental costs 10 lei for the first hour, after which each extra hour costs 5 lei.
Gym and sauna
The gym and the sauna are in the same building. Our guests can use the sauna for free the first time, after that, each session costs 120 lei. The intention of using the sauna must be previously communicated, so that we can heat it up. The gym can be used for free anytime. It is equipped with a ping pong table, treadmill, bench press, dumbbells and two spinning bikes.
Football field and tennis court
The football field and the tennis court can be used for free the first time, after which every hour costs an extra 60 lei. Using the illuminated fields at night costs 80 lei per hour.
Enduro
At Deság Resort, guests have the possibility to go on enduro tours in the heart of Transylvania, in the Harghita Mountains. We have 8 enduro motorbikes that our guests can use for enduro tours of 50-100 kms, with experienced guides.
Sports and leisure
Sports are key for the success of a perfect team building. We welcome teams or those who prefer active relaxation with floodlit, artificial grass football pitch and tennis court, as well as a fitness room.

Ivó Riding Hall
At Ivó Riding Hall in Izvoare, 9 km from Deșag Resort, they organize horse riding trips, horse camps and riding lessons with Icelandic horses.
Wildlife Park of Ivó
The Wildlife Park of Ivó is located 12 km from Deșag Resort, having an area of 320 hectares surrounded by streams and mountains. In this area, deer, roe deer, mouflons and wild boars can live in their natural environment with minimal human contact. The Wildlife Park offers pleasant recreation to hikers and visitors alike.
The Csorgókő waterfall
The Csorgókő waterfall in Vărșag is a waterfall in the dense forest, 13 km from Deșag Resort, formed by the stream falling from a height of 6-7 metres.
Zetea Dam
At Zetea Dam, 5 km from Deșag Resort, visitors can go boating, kayaking, canoeing or fishing.
Vârful Harghita Mădăraș
On the 1,800 m high peak of Harghita Mădăraș, 21 km from Deșag Resort, ski slopes are available to ski lovers from December to April.
Pălinca Jamy distillery
The Jamy fruit brandy is a fine drink, obtained from local quality fruits using the latest technology.
