At the foot of Deșag Peak, on the left bank of Târnava Mare river, lies a golden valley, the tranquility of which is provided by the memory of an ancient citadel, built by many hard-working hands during the Iron Age. The Hungarian author Orbán Balázs called the citadel of lord Zete a small eagle’s nest. Nature has since taken over the citadel, but the charm of the place is unbroken to this day.

The wonderful beauty of the area, the glowing ripples in the river, the stories of the locals and their far-famous hospitality, as well as the loud voice of the experiences make the Golden Vale a unique place.

So let us invite you to discover the magic world of legends! On our treasure map you will find everything you need for a fairytale trip.
